NASCAR Racing

Just finished watching the Coca-Cola 600. Yawn! Not entirely unlike watching paint dry for 5 hours. The fastest car won, but I'm glad there were other things going on for me during the race. Otherwise I'd have quit watching.

I heard about this from a friend who went to the LEAF Festival this Spring. It's a "Trombone Shout Band" and it sounds really interesting.

The music is a fusion of gospel with a sort of New Orleans sounding brass flair. I'm told that they had the place jumping when they played.

Next time I have a spare $17, I'll try this.
